I know it seems like we dropped off the face of the planet this month. But really I just haven't been able to add pictures to our blog. And what fun is a blog with no pictures? I must have pictures!
The blog finally informed me that I'm out of storage space (notice that I'm referring to "blog" as a person of authority now) and that I must purchase more online storage before I can add pictures to it. Fine. I'm looking into that. I'm afraid to mess around with it too much before I get my blog book printed in January. I'll figure it all out soon and get some pictures on here.
In the meantime, November did happen! Some highlights that I would have blogged about:
- My birthday. Yay! I'm older now. (Imagine me sitting in front of a cake, smiling.)
- Baby Josh can walk now! It took him 14 months and boy is he excited to get around.
- Family trip to King Tut's Tomb, the traveling exhibit at the Idaho Falls Museum. (Lots of cool pictures!)
- New iphones. Okay, I probably wouldn't have blogged about them, but I have texting now! This is huge.
- Jonathan's first Veteran's Day Program at the school.
- Thanksgiving crafts and our favorite dishes.
Well. You get the idea. There's a lot I could have blogged about with pictures. But instead I will just tell you that we're all still alive and busy and happy. And taking pictures.
Happy November!

you can avoid the running out of storage thing by resizing your pictures. I upload mine as 900x600 and you should still be able to print a decent 4x6 and maybe even a 5x7 from the blog. Just be sure not to save over the original sized picture...I have yet to run out of storage and I am on post #1,962 or there abouts...knock on wood!
I just had that happen. I added another email as an contributor to the blog (just another email address I use for junk mail) but gave me more space. Now I am up and running again without paying for more space. Hope that helps.
Thanks for the tip, Sabrina. It worked!
Amy, I remember seeing your blog post about this and I feel guilty every time I upload pictures full-size. :) I tried it for awhile and it was so time consuming and frustrating. But I'm thinking you probably have a better system than I do. How do YOU resize your pictures? My blog posts are usually based on 5-10 photos so I'd like a quicker fix if you have any suggestions! Thanks.
