Here's our Lelli Kelly girl, as happy as can be!
We used craft paint to stamp on big pink flowers and small purple ones.
(Then a lot of touchups with a brush.)
We sewed on the buttons and gems by hand with clear thread and added dots of glitter glue all over. Not bad for just raiding my craft closet and not buying a thing!
Cost of Lelli Kelly upgrade: $0
I'm actually happy that Nicole had this fascination with the Lelli Kelly commercial. It was a super fun (and easy) project for us. And maybe she even learned something about money and self reliance. If not, at least she loves her pretty "new" shoes!

Lookie that first photo. She is such a GIRL!
I love her pose! You can tell she feels beautiful! Way to go. It was obviously a success. The shoes look great!
They turned out really cute! I knew they would.
They're awesome. She looks sooo happy! Now I want to make some for my girls.
You rock. So, I really want this skirt at Summer's Store, but it's too much for me to pay...want to take a stab at it for me???
You deserve to be mom of the year, Kristen! These are adorable! I'm super impressed!
They turned out great! I will have to remember this for when Aubrey is a bit older. Very cute!
SOO cute! She definitely loves her shoes you can tell. Great job! I wouldn't even know where to begin. You are awesome Kristen!
SO CUTE. I can't believe the poses she does! Good job - especially with using everything you already have!
AWESOME! You're braver than I am, though. I would have decorated them by myself without my daughter knowing. That way the perfectionist in me could get all irritated that they weren't turning out right. Haha. I need to let my kids have more fun!!
