Greg. Cousin. Cousin. Nicole.
Christmas Eve at Grandma's house includes several traditions such as 7-layer bean dip and egg nog milkshakes. The nativity puppet show. And of course the singing polar bear and penguins. (By the way, did you know that polar bears and penguins are never together in nature? Polar bears are only in the north pole and penguins are only in the south pole.) But I guess we can all be friends on Christmas.
Christmas morning! We woke our kids up just before 7 so they wouldn't get up one at a time and have us miss their reactions. (They wouldn't be able to get to our room without seeing what Santa brought.) Good morning, Nicole!
Good morning, Zachary! It's Christmas!
Good morning, Gregory! You didn't know it was Christmas, but you woke up with a smile anyway. We gathered downstairs so we could all walk up together. Or run up. It was hard to beat them up the stairs to get a picture!
Can you feel the excitement?!?!? That's really all I wanted to blog about. I love the kids' excitement over Christmas. I took a BUNCH of pictures of them opening their gifts. We were all sufficiently spoiled. Thank you to all who contributed! We feel very blessed and had a very, very, very fun Christmas.
We hope you did too. Happy New Year!

Nothing better than kids on Christmas! I also did not know that tid-bit about polar bears and penguins so thanks for that :)
Those pictures of the kids waking up is the best. Kids at Christmas makes it all worth it! Happy New Year to you too!
Fun! I had to run in to the kids' room before they woke up too. You have such fun kids. I love the looks on their faces. :)
