Snow Zone

What a nice day for playing in the sandbox. 

And swinging peacefully.  

Does anybody want to join us for a barbecue? 

Joshie and I stayed inside from the cold while everyone else had a great time playing in the snow.

The main event was going for sled rides behind our four-wheeler.  We've been waiting a couple years for this!  Last year we had all the gear but not enough snow.  This time it was perfect. Ben drove them around the yard and over our mini hills. The kids all loved it.

  

Well most of the kids.  This is Ben saying, "Come on, Greg! It's fun!"  He was scared. I told Ben to take him anyway.  Guess how well that worked out. Here's the picture play-by-play:

Greg knew exactly what he wanted to do. 

Going over the hills looked like a blast! I hope I get a turn next year. The kids had a lot of rides - a lot more than I thought they could handle in the cold.  

Of course there was a nice, gentle snowball fight at the end. 

Until they figured out how to gang up on the big guy. I'll save Ben's dignity by not posting what happened next.  (Such a good dad!)

There's nothing better than hot chocolate and marshmallows after playing in the snow!
