Little Runaway

Nicole is eighteen months old now. Wow. I can believe that Jonathan is five and that Zachary is three. But Nicole's year and a half whizzed by. Here's a little snippet from my life with Nicole: Last Sunday, Nicole decided that she was pretty in her dress. It's the first time her bow and shoes stayed on all through church. When we got home, I was ready to eat lunch and hit naptime.

"Nicole, should we change out of your pretty dress?" Of course not. She fluffs her skirt, spins around, and takes off running. I grab the camera from the diaper bag and chase after her. Corner her at the front door (above).

Off she goes again - to the other side of the house.
Back to the front door and ready to run again.
Finally she agrees to pose for me. After her winning smile, I leave the camera, haul my little girl off to the changing room, and we get on with our day. What a sweetheart. I love her giggles. I hope tomorrow will be another sweet Sunday.

What a cute little girl! I LOVE it when they learn to twirl and feel so pretty!!! Nothing makes Ashley happier than to be told how pretty or cute she is - and dresses just make it that much better. I can't believe how much she's grown!!!

Again, you're allowed the background if you'd like it. I LOVED it. So feel free. :) As its not one I OWN anyway. ;)

What a cutie. If I looked that good in a dress I wouldn't want to take it off either.
