Gettin' Around

Greg has had the army crawl mastered for awhile now. He's quick enough to get into the middle of his brothers' games. Jonathan created this barricade of toys around Greg, to serve as a playpen. He didn't mind much. But he did realize that he needed some new skills to escape.

And now he's all over the place! He can go OVER.
And he can go UNDER.

And he can go UP.

And he can go DOWN.
(Well we don't let him do the down. But he wants to.)

And he is really good at holding ON!
Look at how happy he is. Greg seems to have become a new boy since he figured out how to get where he wants to go.

And the big one - Greg has finally committed to real crawling. For the most part. Here's a short clip of him crawling, and then reverting back to old habits.
He'll be walking all too soon. But if he's happy, I'm happy!
Oh and he is finally wearing himself out enough to take an occasional nap. Life is good.

Oh, trouble is brewing at your house... and mine. But I agree that a happy mobile baby is better than a sad stationary one. Plus he is so cute, what a charmer.

Baby Dhis finally crawled yesterday! Just for a few paces because Mommy was doing it, too, and she thought that was silly.

My odd immobile toddler. Can I call her a toddler if she doesn't toddle?

Well, we no longer have a dog so this upcoming baby should have no barriers in getting started.

Hmm. Maybe we should get a dog.

So cute. Brings back memories of Talmage's crawling days. And Daniel will tell you that army crawling is GREAT for his visual development!
