We just had our 18 week ultrasound of the baby. Everything looks great and we even counted ten fingers and ten toes. My due date is September 6. And yes, we found out the gender! Can you guess what it is?
Hooray! I wasn't too surprised. Ben and I both guessed that it was a boy although I was hoping for a girl. (And I thought that buying a pink outfit beforehand would help my chances, but nooooo. Haha.) But of course the instant I saw our little boy wiggling around on the screen I was thrilled and in love. I can't wait to meet him. The kids were expecting a girl but instead of being disappointed they each laughed that we're having another boy in our family. It really is funny. Five boys and one girl?
I'm sure Greg will love having a little play buddy and Nicole will enjoy getting spoiled even more as the only girl. We need to start working on names though. I'm sure the perfect one is out there somewhere. Somewhere. Somewhere. I think I have the boy section of our baby name book memorized. And it turns out that no matter how many times I write Toby on the list, Ben still doesn't approve. What's up with that?
No worries - we'll come up with something. We do have all summer to work on it. Suggestions are welcome. We're excited to share our news with you. IT'S A BOY!!!

Yeah for boys! Congratulations he is a blessed little boy.
Yay! So happy for you (although I know you were hoping for a girl). Boys really are awesome and you are such a great "boy mom". Some suggestions for names, hmmmm...Since you have a Gregory I will tell you my other brothers' names just in case this is a trend-Scott and Kevin. Other names I like are- Austin, Blake, Ryan, Lance, and of course Carter and Preston. :) Good luck! I can't wait to hear what you finally decide! :)
