Here they are, Jonathan and Maddie... They were good little friends before we moved. I just realized that we missed Maddie's birthday last week. How sad. We love living in Idaho now, but we left behind some great friends. And poor Jonathan didn't have any say in it! Here are a few pictures of Jonathan and Maddie, enjoying a couple of years together.

Maddie and Jonathan loved playing outside together. Chalk, bubbles, dirt, water, anything goes. This picture was after we found out we were going to move. I was kind of sad because I knew we were leaving and they didn't seem to understand. The waterslide was great!
When we moved to Idaho, Maddie came to visit! Here Jonathan and Maddie are playing at the park and being silly with play doh.
We have visited Maddie and family a few times since, and the kids seem to pick up right where they left off. So even though we're to the point of missing birthdays, we have happy memories and we can stay friends!
Happy Late Birthday, Maddie! We miss all of you!

Thanks, Kristen. You made me get all teary-eyed. Maddie found a picture the other day that I had put in a frame of the 4 kids. She has it on her dresser right now. It is funny how they remember each other and still think about each other.
