We have three new additions to our family! Here's Mommy Cat (that's her name) with her three little kittens under her. This is her second litter. Her first babies were born last spring, just a couple days after Nicole was born, so I feel a maternal bond with her. =o) We kept two of the first batch and now they are going to have their own babies soon. Are we a kitty factory or what?!?
Aren't they tiny? They were born six hours before this was taken. Mommy Cat went to eat and I'm happy she trusts me to get close enough for a picture. Jonathan says their names will be Baby Jaguar (for all of you Diego fans out there), Crayon because it's gray like a crayon, and Camera because kitties have shiny eyes. Those names are more creative than Mommy Cat but we'll see if they stick.
We don't let the cats come in our house, but they do have a nice shed to live in. They also have the luxury of sleeping in the warm garage when they have new babies! I love hearing the tiny meows.

so sweet! my kids wish they could have kittens. but we have a dog and a new baby and that is enough for me right now! I bet your kids are loving them. I did not know you lived in the middle of no where. You have no neighbors around you!
I don't think a truck could pull a
mobile home down our street let a lone park it for a few hours!!! LOL
I hope you don't get lonely.
Those are really darling. Mom looks so protective with her paw on her little ones. I love their names. So creative. I know they'll be happy cats at the Nelsons.
I will have to show these pictures to the girls. Although I am a dog fan, I have to say that they are so sweet.
