Welcome to my Princess Party!
Nicole's cousins were happy to dress up for the occasion. They were royally cute! (Ages 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, and 10.) Nicole LOVED it when they all showed up in their pretty dresses. It was almost like a surprise party.
There were some princes too. This is the only one who sat still long enough for a picture.
Nicole didn't waste any time opening her presents. She received a lot of PINK and was very excited. Thank you to all of our family for the kind gifts and cards! I wish I could include pictures of everything she received but she was just so cute that I took too many pictures to keep up with. Thank you!
The parents of the princess were really excited for this one. A big dollhouse! It has been hiding for months and now that Nicole is THREE, she's ready for it. The furniture sets are realistic, with fabric couches and moveable parts. The TV even plays music from her Barbie Swan Lake movie. We have had a lot of fun with it already and Nicole wants to spend some of her birthday money to buy more furniture.
Time for cake! Even when Nicole was standing on her chair, she couldn't reach over the cake to blow out the candle. While we were trying to figure out how to get her higher, the smart princess discovered a way to blow between the towers. (Then we relit the candle and did it officially for the camera.)
Here's my sweet girl enjoying the cake that she has dreamed of since last year. So pretty in pink.
We love our bright-eyed Nicole! She's such a happy little girl to have around. She has her soft and tender moments. But she can still play tough and keep up with her brothers. Nicole is a complete crackup. She gets VERY excited over the little things and makes sure that we are excited too. She is contagiously joyful. I love watching Nicole laugh and dance and play. Life just gets better all the time when Nicole is around.
Happy Third Birthday, our pretty princess!

She is SO CUTE!!! What a fun little girl. Its sad we're so far away and couldn't be part of it! I'm glad she had a fun birthday - and I may have to figure out how to make that cake for Ashley next year!
I can't believe she's 3. That means my baby will be 3 all too soon. :(
Couldn't you just, you know, turn the cake around to blow the candle out?
Thank goodness for Nicole's quick thinking!
Adhis, that would totally ruin the picture. We'd get either the back of the cake or the back of the princess. Or the side of both - but that's not the tradition.
Don't you know that the photography is more important than the event?
Cute cake! Looks like the princess party was a lot of fun!
Could the birthday girl and her party be any cuter? I love it!
Awesome cake, pretty princess and great birthday gift. I bet she loves her doll house. She is so adorable.
