Worth a Thousand Words

When I was young, my mom told me she was sad that her baby was growing up.
I told her "Mom, don't be sad, I'll always be your baby."
She has reminded me many times.

I love looking at pictures. Good and long.
One of my favorite pictures ever is one that I don't really put out in the open because it might make people uncomfortable.

But it is one of my favorites and perfect for today.

This is motherhood.

Even though I'm grown, I still need my mommy.  I don't remember feeling her hands on me that day. I didn't tell her I needed help.

But there she was, to make sure that even though I was stumbling, I wouldn't fall.

Yes, Mom, I will always be your baby.  =o)
Happy Mother's Day!

Love, Kristen

Since I can't even see the computer screen now as I write, I'll keep this short. That was beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
