I've been annoyed lately with how slowly my blog loads compared to everyone else's. (Blog envy.) I already got rid of Playlist. Maybe it's my background. Or my Weatherbug in the right column. Today I considered taking it off. I went to look at it to decide, but..... WHAT IS THAT that I saw?!?!?!?! Go ahead, go check it. And I'm not talking about the tree that's about to blow over for today - yes it IS that windy right now. But tomorrow....tomorrow...
A 50% chance of WHAT tomorrow?
Are you kidding me? Yes, I chose a dancing, jolly snowman for a reason. The Christmas-lover inside of me is ecstatic. But snow also sets off these alarms in my head:
-Potato harvest isn't over! (If you're chuckling, it's NOT funny... Ooooh, now you feel guilty.)
-The sprinklers will freeze!
-Our patio step still needs poured!
-I need to cut the rest of the mini pumpkins!
-I don't want to today!
-I just banned the baby kitties from the garage - now what do I do? (Now you can chuckle... I'm pathetic.)
-Nicole's winter coat doesn't fit her yet!
-I have a huge list of things I need to do outside before winter!
Okay so it's only a 50% chance. And it says it will snow, not create a blizzard that will last the next six months. So I'm sure everything's fine. (Except for the kitties.) A 50% chance lets me be excited that it might snow and not paranoid that it will snow. That feels a lot better.
There's also a 50% chance that we'll have a baby girl - our ultrasound is coming soon. (Was that subject change too dramatic?) Please take my baby gender poll! Also, for those of you who are curious about my last post, I DID find the answer. You can read all about it in the comments!
Time to go cut those mini pumpkins... I hope I don't blow away.

Have fun. I kind of wish we were getting snow too, but then CG's plane might not be able to land and I would have to be the only speaker on Sunday.Good luck with getting everything done.
Ha! Try 100% . . . and then you were snowed in! =) We missed you today, but hope you had a fun quiet day at home (not what I had!).
Yesterday we were told would be getting snow today and all I've seen is rain. My kids were so disappointed I'm thinking of taking a trip up the mountians so we can see the snow. Those weather men (or is it person?) Don't know what they are talking about.
Man, that entry looked like what happens in my brain... one subject to the next. Although at least you finish your sentences before you move on to the next subject. ;) Guess you were right about the snow, eh?
